A slight update - Ricahrd III

The pace is slow but not entirely moribund

Richard III and his standard bearer. According to a single source, the Ballad of Bosworth Field, Richard's standard bearer was  Sir Percival Thirlwall.The Ballad claims he met a gory end,

Sir Perciuall Thriball, the other hight,
& noble Knight, & in his hart was true;
King Richards standard hee kept vpright
vntill both his leggs were hewen him froe;
to the ground he wold neuer lett itt goe,
whilest the breath his brest ws within;
yett men pray ffor the Knights
that euer was soe true to their King.

The Ballad was a sixteenth-century narrative possibly based on something written by an eyewitness of the battle, probably in the retinue of the Stanleys. (According to the Coat of Arms, Third Series, Vol X1, 2015)

Thirwell's CoAs is "Sable, a chevron Argent between three boars’ heads couped Or. My boars are bit lame, even rabbit like.I thought Thirwell should be holding the Royal Standard rather than Richard's Gloucester coat of arms or banner,  The figures are straight-out-of-the-box build of Perry Miniatures, with a Pete's Flag standard. for Uncle Napoleon.

And scratch-built a pair of late medieval houses.
